Swansea goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has been making artistic howlers for years now, but his performance against Liverpool (or in aid of Liverpool?) was truly inspired. With his side down 1-0 early in the second half, the former Arsenal keeper blasted the ball off of Adam Lallana’s body to score on the goal behind him.
Though Lallana was credited with the goal, it was definitely more Fabianski’s doing. A minute later, Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson got one back, but Lallana then scored a second through a legitimate effort of his own to put Liverpool up 3-1 in the 61st minute. Finally, former Liverpool man Jonjo Shelvey showed teammate Fabianski how to score a proper own goal with a header in the 69th minute to give the home side a 4-1 advantage.
