As angry as Zlatan Ibrahimovic was at the referees of France last weekend, nothing can compare to the hellfire he must have directed towards RTL’s Michel De Maegd for daring to jumble his name into “Ibrahim Zlatanovic” on television.
The error came after Zlatan was sent off as PSG eliminated Chelsea from the Champions League last week and De Maegd didn’t even realize what he had done until much later.
“This is crazy,” De Maegd later said, according to 20minutes.fr. “In 15 years, this has never happened to me. It’s my brain that played a trick on me.”
Clearly De Maegd’s tongue could not handle the violent power of uttering Zlatan’s actual name.
