Manchester United beat Man City 4-2 on Sunday, which is great news for Louis van Gaal and terrible news for his wife, Truus.
Man United’s official website explains:
Before Sunday’s derby, the boss had admitted that anticipation for the clash with the local rivals was so high that his wife had been discussing it in her local salon.
Goals from Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini, Juan Mata and Chris Smalling overturned the early shock of Sergio Aguero’s opener, and even a late consolation from the Argentine could not dampen United’s spirits.
“Dawn, I’m sorry – but we were the better team,” a smiling van Gaal tells MUTV during his post-match interview in the video you can see above.
And Dawn’s response to that mic drop will probably be, “Louis, I’m sorry – but I just cut your wife’s hair with my bare hands. And Fellaini’s next.”
Mrs. Van Gaal might want to go ahead and find a new hairdresser before this happens.
