The Manchester United foundation hosted a dream day where a group of fans suffering from illnesses were able to meet the players and coaching staff. One fan took the opportunity to present manager Louis van Gaal with his list of summer transfer targets, presumably so the club can avoid acquisitions like Falcao and Angel Di Maria in the future.
Supporter Mohsin Tanveer told Van Gaal that he “did some homework for him” and created the list of targets, which the Dutch gaffer thanked him for before pocketing it. Here’s who made the list:
1. Mats Hummels (£36 million)
2. Nathaniel Clyne (£15 million)
3. Paul Pogba (£75 million)
4. Gareth Bale (£120 million)
5. Jackson Martinez (£25 million)
Tanveer told the Guardian’s Daniel Taylor that Van Gaal delivered the list to Man United chief executive Ed Woodward.

And it seems Woodward and Van Gaal have already gotten to work on it.

I guess they’re trying to save a bit on Hummels so they can afford Pogba and Bale later.
Clyne? The kid knows his stuff.
