Just three minutes after his opening goal, he did this — turning Jerome Boateng into a pile of dust and chipping Neuer to realize what he couldn’t quite do in the World Cup final last summer. Great line. Life is not bad when you cheer for a club who employs a guy who can put Boateng on the ground with one touch and put it over Manuel F’n Neur with a black magic chip shot with his very next touch. I feel good today.
Amahzing. There cannot be any words left to describe Messi. My only regret was that we had the lame Fox guys in the US calling the game, not Ray Hudson…though I imagine Ray may have had a heart attack yesterday from Barca’s play and be utterly catatonic today.
