Newcastle’s already miserable season reached a new low on Sunday as they lost the Tyne-Wear Derby 3-0 to a Sunderland team led by their own former manager, Sam Allardyce. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, they also misspelled Chancel Mbemba’s name wrong on the back of his shirt.
Mbemba came out for the second half in a shirt with his name spelled properly, so someone spotted the error during the match. The way things are going for 19th-place Newcastle, we should probably just be impressed that they got their other 10 starters’ names right, though.
Yeah, but we’re only FIVE points off Chelsea. We’ll catch them before too long. This should be a fantastic battle!!!!!!
I guess the Red card was for THIS!
