The Columbus Crew proved they can score fast goals with Justin Meram’s effort just nine seconds into their Eastern Conference Championship against the New York Red Bulls, but in the MLS Cup final they picked a terrible time to prove that they can concede them too.

Less than 30 seconds into the final against the Portland Timbers, Columbus goalkeeper Steve Clarke had an unthinkably bad first touch and conceded the match’s first goal inside 30 seconds. But that was just the beginning of Columbus’ horrific start to the match. In the seventh minute, they conceded again, this time thanks to dozy defending.

Perhaps feeling a bit guilty about having two goals gifted to them, Timbers goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey conceded a baffling goal too. This made it 2-1 in the 18th minute.

They better drug test everyone after this is over.
