The Afghan boy in a homemade plastic Messi shirt who became the subject of a global social media hunt has finally been given the real Messi shirt he always wanted and it was sent care of Leo Messi himself.
UNICEF delivered an autographed Messi shirt to five-year-old Murtaza Ahmadi and his response was like a line from the most beautiful Pixar film ever written.

“I love Messi and my shirt says Messi loves me,” Murtaza said, reducing everyone within earshot to a puddle of warm tears.
He added*: “I don’t love Gonzalo Higuain, though. I mean, ruining two major cup finals in a row? What a choke artist.”
*He didn’t really.
I’m still waiting for my Balotelli shirt.
