Nike Football has released their longest film yet, starring Cristiano Ronaldo in a Freaky Friday type scenario in which he changes bodies with a ball boy.
Cristiano has had his troubles with ball boys in real life, but this takes things to a new level that gives the Portuguese a chance to show off his acting chops and leads to an ultimate showdown between the boy in Ronaldo’s body and Ronaldo in the boy’s body (wait…that sounds bad).
The film also features cameos from Raheem Sterling, Joe Hart, Harry Kane, Chris Smalling, John Stones, Ross Barkley, Megan Rapinoe, Ricardo Quaresma, Andre Gomes, Jose Fonte, Cedric Soares, Vieirinha, Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial, Sergi Roberto, and Javier Mascherano. It was directed by Ringan Ledwidge, who did 2014’s “Winner Stays.”
According to Nike, the car driven by Ronaldo in the film isn’t actually one of his own and neither is the dog.
Could this be the start of Cristiano Ronaldo’s acting career? He’ll be in Fast & Furious 9. I’m calling it now.
I’m not a CR7 fan by any means, but that video was really fun and entertaining. It made me kinda care about Ronaldo a bit.
I’m sure the director was contractually obligated by CRonaldo to include an ab shot. It was probably negotiated down from a tasteful nude scene…
