Belgium recovered from a poor performance against Italy to beat Ireland with three goals and Shane Long with everything they could throw at him.

The referee somehow let Belgium abuse the Irish striker throughout the game, so they treated him like an unknowing participant in the Royal Rumble.

There were tandem decapitation kicks, flying body checks, and several Belgium players tried to sit on his shoulders while he was standing up. It was brutal, yet effective.

Hopefully Long’s teammates give him some space after this because he’s probably going to be looking to avoid physical contact for a while.
