MLS does not have goal-line technology because it’s too expensive, but after their match against Sporting Kansas City, FC Dallas might want to foot the bill themselves.
The match officials failed to recognize a clear own goal — like, Frank Lampard at the 2010 World Cup clear — by Sporting KC, who went on to win 2-0. Naturally, FC Dallas were not happy about this.

I don’t know if goal-line technology would be cheaper than buying glasses for every official in the league, but MLS might want to check that out.
