During his time with Chelsea, Didier Drogba scored 13 goals in 15 appearances against Arsenal. So when he ended his second stint with the Blues and moved to a different continent, Arsenal likely thought they were finally free from his tyranny. They were wrong.
Drogba started for the MLS All-Stars against Arsenal and scored his side’s only goal just before halftime even though his old Chelsea teammate Petr Cech did his best to prevent the inevitable from happening. It should also be noted that the MLS side wore blue shirts for the match. Perhaps that helped.
After the match, which Arsenal won 2-1, Drogba was sure to celebrate in front of Cech once more.
Yes , my friend DD @didierdrogba was very happy about his goal … 🙈😡 pic.twitter.com/H4N8CD10C1

Meanwhile, MLS All-Stars captain Kaka tried to use the ball as a carpet and it didn’t work.
Happens to the best of us, Kaka. Don’t sweat it. #MLSAllStar pic.twitter.com/wgrI6esHSX
