When two superstars with giant personalities are brought together in a new team, there are always concerns about how they will get along both on and off the pitch. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba have been quick to dispel these concerns at Man United, though. And they’ve already established themselves as football’s greatest comedy team.
In an interview with Thierry Henry, Pogba unveiled his Zlatan impression and revealed a bit of the banter the two have shared in their brief time together. Then following Pogba’s debut in Man United’s 2-0 win over Southampton (in which Zlatan scored both goals), the duo performed their first on-camera repartee during an interview with Geoff Shreeves.
As brilliant as these two are on the pitch, Man United should have them put together a comedy/martial arts act and send them out on a theater tour to fully get their money’s worth. I smell the makings of a sitcom.
