The storm didn’t deter Gladbach supporters who traveled from Germany, however. They filled the away end of an otherwise empty Etihad Stadium and sang their hearts out anyway.
This prompted their team to come out and show their appreciation, even though there was no match to be played.
Match or no match, passion for the game can’t be drowned out.
German teams seems to always know how to show their fans their appreciation.
