Lee Chung-yong has only made 12 appearances for Crystal Palace this season and according to the South Korean international, that might be at least partly down to manager Alan Pardew’s struggles in counting to three.

Leicester fan convinces girlfriend to name their daughter “Vardy” with internet petition
Given the incredible turn of events for Leicester City this season, it’s understandable that their fans would be a bit drunk on life and delirious. Perhaps this is why Leicester supporter Ashley Marriott decided that “Vardy” — as in the club’s top scorer Jamie Vardy — would make a good middle name for his unborn daughter and that he should start an internet petition to convince his partner of this.
Broken Arsene Wenger blames Arsenal fans for not winning the Premier League
Arsene Wenger is a broken man. Looking set to finish third or fourth in the Premier League for the 11th consecutive year in a trophyless season that will likely mark the first time in 21 years that Arsenal will finish behind Spurs, the club’s fans have been voicing their discontent even louder than usual in recent weeks.

The Allsvenskanliga match between IFK Gothenburg and Malmo was abandoned when a player heaved the corner flag into the crowd after an explosive device thrown from the stands went off near his feet. Malmo’s Tobias Sana, who played for rivals IFK from 2009 to 2012, was warming up on the touchline when the firework landed near him and went off in the 78th minute. Sana then charged towards the area of the stands where it came from, picked up the corner flag and threw it like a javelin into the crowd. It didn’t appear to hit anyone.

Once the happy pooches were cleared from the pitch during the Copa Libertadores match between Deportivo Tachira and Pumas, things got nasty. After attempting to clear a high ball, Tachira defender Yuber Mosquera planted his boot in Pumas midfielder Alejandro Castro’s chest.
Super happy dog interrupts Copa Libertadores match
The happiest attendee at the Copa Libertadores match between Deportivo Tachira and Pumas had to be the dog that invaded the pitch early in the first half. Play was halted as the Venezuelan dog jumped around from player to player, looking for someone to have some fun with.
A night in the stands with Cristiano Ronaldo
The first leg of Man City and Real Madrid’s Champions League semifinal was stupendously boring and Cristiano Ronaldo had to sit in the stands and watch it like the rest of us due to a muscle injury. It quickly became clear that this was an outer ring of his own personal hell.
Bayern Munich think it’s time to take another key player from Borussia Dortmund
Bayern Munich have made a habit of cherry picking some of Borussia Dortmund’s best players of the years and it’s proven to be an effective way to keep BVB in check since they won back to back titles in 2011 and 2012. But now, under new manager Thomas Tuchel, Dortmund have fought back to make the Bundesliga title race relatively interesting this season, which makes Bayern’s official interest in star defender Mats Hummels, who began his career with Bayern, rather interesting.
Spurs falter under the pressure of playing in front of Baby Spice
Spurs all but wrapped up the Premier League title for Leicester by only managing a 1-1 draw with West Brom at home on Monday night. The pressure was on with first-place Leicester beating Swansea 4-0 the day before and Spurs fan Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton in attendance at White Hart Lane for the important match. But the former Spice Girl’s presence was too much for this young Spurs team to handle as they conceded a 73rd minute equalizer to Craig Dawson, who scored an own goal in the 33rd minute to give Spurs the lead.
DTotD: Paul Pogba taken down by champagne slicked floor

Juventus sealed their record fifth consecutive Serie A title with Roma’s 1-0 win over Napoli, prompting the usual celebrations of bouncing around while spraying champagne. But since the players were in a room with a hardwood floor instead of the dressing room, this created hazardous conditions. And Paul Pogba fell victim to them.
While attempting to take a selfie while moshing around, Pogba slipped on the wet floor, then looked like he was trying to walk on ice as he attempted to get back to his feet.
This is a video that likely gave France manager Didier Deschamps a heart attack so close to Euro 2016, but Pogba appeared to survive the ordeal without any ill effects.
